True Buddha Diamond Temple of New York was officially consecrated and inaugurated in New York in 1997 after years of careful planning and preparation. Under the personal guidance and consecration of Living Buddha Lian Sheng, the temple was formally established and has since become one of the principal True Buddha School Vajrayana Buddhist temples on the East Coast of the United States. On the day of the consecration, the sacred ceremony was conducted with great solemnity and dignity. It is believed that the blessings of the Buddhas, Bodhisattvas, Vajra Protectors, and Dakas and Dakinis permeated the Dharma realm, signifying the deep establishment of the Buddhadharma in this land. True Buddha Diamond Temple of New York is not only a symbol of the propagation of the True Buddha Vajrayana teachings but also a place dedicated to benefiting all sentient beings, allowing the Buddhadharma to take root, flourish, and continue to spread throughout the eastern United States.
Upholding the authentic lineage and traditions of the True Buddha School, the temple is committed to integrating spiritual cultivation with the propagation of the Buddhadharma. Throughout the years, it has regularly organized Dharma ceremonies, group practice sessions, empowerment ceremonies, and Buddhist education programs, guiding devotees to cultivate right faith, strengthen their spiritual resolve, and deepen their understanding of the Dharma. More than a place for Vajrayana practice and Buddhist study, the temple serves as a peaceful sanctuary where devotees find spiritual refuge, mutual support, and inner growth. Through its continuous Dharma propagation, compassionate service, and community outreach, True Buddha Diamond Temple of New York fosters virtuous connections, benefits countless beings, and embodies the harmonious union of compassion and wisdom, bringing peace, blessings, and spiritual fulfillment to all.
